BOOKING FORM
Join artists Fiona Caley, Matt Fratson and Ruby Deverell of the Virtual Ecologies Project Team, for a day of experimental creative activities at the spectacular Bempton Cliffs.
We will use selected material from the East Riding Archives – photographs, maps, and natural history illustrations - to trace the interwoven histories of Bempton Cliffs and the surrounding area – from the geology of the coast to the roots of the Sea Bird Protection Act and into present day environmental concerns. We will use this material, together with conversation, written exercises and photography of our own to produce new interpretations of what it means to live in a place steeped in both historical significance and environmental precarity.
• Free entry to the site for all workshop participants
• The workshop will begin at 10am, and we encourage you to join us for the start, but you are welcome to join us at any point throughout the day, Similarly, there are no expectations around staying with us for the full day
• Suitable for people of all ages
• All materials and resources will be provided, no need to bring anything along with you
