CREATIVE MENTORSHIP OPPORTUNITY

Would you like to get hands-on with photography, writing, archiving and curating?

Virtual Ecologies team members Ruby Deverell and Alexander Stubbs are looking to work with people in Hull and East Yorkshire to co-create an image-based project exploring material histories in coastal communities.

Open to young people as well as those over the age of 18, at any stage of your creative journey or level of experience.

  • Join The Aimless Archive at Humber Street Gallery for a Virtual Ecologies creative and critical response workshop. During the session we will forage for words, dig into the things we remember, and harvest small differences that could make a bigger picture.

  • Join us for a coastal walk led by Carmen Sole (Inspiring People Officer, Yorkshire Wildlife Trust) across the awe-inspiring shifting landscape of Spurn Point. Together we will explore Spurn's unique geology and biodiversity through conversation, field recordings, photography and journaling, as we become naturalists for a day.
